Jordan Brand planned on making the initial press release and unveiling of the Air Jordan 23 after the dawn of the new year, but shoe enthusiasts with access to top secret material had other plans. Last week, Jordan Brand held a special media day where all attendees had to promise on their first child not to leak anything; unfortunately, other individuals didn't have to make the same commitments. The Air Jordan XX3 (Jordan 23) is a ground breaking shoe like many of the other Air Jordans. MJ and JB took strides forward with sustainability producing the shoe without the use of any glue - the first of its kind for a performance basketball shoe. This was accomplished with complex and fine tuned engineering from none other than Tinker Hatfield. The stitching on the side of the shoe adds strength to the shoe, but also makes it much harder to bootleg - something else that JB took into consideration when making these shoes.

The Air Jordan 23 (XX3 or XXIII) - Stealth (Black / Varsity Red - Stealth) were released on February 23, 2008, and retailed for $185. The nickname Stealth refers to the official colorway, but also to the all black color scheme, which is usually associated with stealth, or hiding. The Air Jordan 23 (XX3)'s hand-stitched upper, full-length quilted bootie, carbon-fiber shank plate and articulated chassis provide the ultimate in fit, comfort, support and control. They feature Zoom Air and tuned Independent Podular Suspension (IPS) pillars housed in the lowest profile midsole ever. And all this rides on Michael Jordan's fingerprint outsole which ultimately redefines the game. Being worthy of the number 23 (XX3 or XXIII), they exceed all
expectations as a masterpiece of beauty, performance and sustainability.

The Air Jordan 23 (XX3 or XXIII) - Premier (White / Titanium - University Blue) were released on January 25, 2008, and retailed for $150. They were a limited relese, with only 1,058 being released around the world. They feature a white leather and grey fabric upper, along with uniquely and specifically placed perforations along the toe and tongue which not only form an intricate design, but also act as a ventilation system, so that the bearer's foot does not overheat. The side panels feature a unique design constructed from a blue and white color scheme. The tongue of the left and right are different for a first time with a Jumpman on the right shoe and "23" on the left. Lastly what starts at the front of the shoe and extends the full length is a metallic,glossy panel that covers the midsole body of the sneaker. Performance wise, is it at the top of its game, consisting of the previously seen IPS (Independent Podular Suspension) system, as well as a carbon fiber plate which extends along the bottom the of sole which is said to be modeled after Michael Jordan's thumb print.

Next color-way in the Air Jordan 23 (XX3) line up is the Air Jordan 23 (XX3 or XXIII) - White / Stealth - Black - Metallic Gold which is set to release April 05, 2008. The feature a neutral and calm color-way with a sparkling metallic gold stitching for a magnificent contrast.
