First time to Retro, the Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Taxi Countdown Pack added more desire to the already exciting Countdown Pack. Last time this color scheme released was 1996. The Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Taxi Countdown Pack received its nickname from the color way: White / Black – Taxi.

Due to limited quantities, the Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Taxi Countdown Pack sold out within a day, and some locations when doors opened. Release date was December 20th 2008, with a retail price of $310. Also released with the Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Taxi Countdown Pack was the Black Red Air Jordan 11.

They feature a black leather upper with red rands along the sides which feature a lizard skin print, ala the air Jordan 2 (II). The red outsole does not match the red used on the upper, but the shoe still blends well. The shoe itself has some history behind it, as it ins inspired by the Nisshoki, which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century womens dress boot. The stitching along the leather upper radiate outward like rays from the sun. This particular colorway is adored by Jordan fanatics.

The design of the Air Jordan 12 (XII) is based on the Nisshoki, which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century womens dress boot. It features stitched leather portions which radiate outward like the sun's rays. The bottom features a white colorway, with black inserts which feature a modified herringbone pattern, which is great for grip and traction.
